The United Kingdom Hotel, Queens Parade, Clifton Hill C.1977
Built in 1937 at the intersection of Heidelberg Road and Queens Parade, the building was originally the United Kingdom Hotel until it was delicensed in 1988. Following its purchase by McDonald’s, the restaurant was obliged by the historical society to maintain many of the building’s most important features.
