Former Fire Brigade Tower at 457 Lt Bourke St, viewed from St Patrick's Alley, C.1961
Built in 1882, (Demolished 1961). Built as HQ for the private Insurance Companies' Fire Brigade, which was taken over by the Metropolitan Fire Brigade in 1891, they retained this as their HQ until 1893 when the Eastern Hill Station was completed.
