L.L Road, later to be known as Boronia Road, Wantirna, C.1900
The road was named L.L. to recognise the work of Dr. Louis Lawrence Smith MD LSA MLA. Who owned a property on this road on the Vermont side of the Dandenong Creek. He was a surgeon who was elected to the Victorian Parliament 1859 to 1874, 1877 to 1883 and 1886 to 1901.
