The Fitzroy Cyclorama was built in 1889 and was located in Victoria Parade at the corner of Brunswick Street. There was another smaller Cyclorama located in Little Collins Street, which opened in 1892. Before Movie Theatres were built the Cyclorama offered entertainment showing historical large scale Paintings depicting historical Events and the viewer would stand on a viewing platform area and was completly surrounded by the historical image. When Hollywood movies became popular the Cyclorama dissapeared. C. 1910
